WWE news: HUGE Brock Lesnar return update - When will he defend Universal Championship?

BROCK LESNAR’S next match will take place at SummerSlam, rumours suggest.

According to Cageside Seats, Lesnar will be putting the Universal Championship on the line in the legendary Pay-Per-View’s main event.

Many have been wondering when The Beast will compete again after retaining the title in a controversial Steel Cage Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia against Roman Reigns.

The Conqueror is not expected to appear at Money in the Bank on June 17 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

However, the UFC legend could feature at SummerSlam on August 19.

His next opponent is a mystery but rumours suggest WWE officials want either Reigns or Braun Strowman to challenge for the championship soon.

Lesnar was expected to lose the Universal title to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 and return to UFC immediately after.

However, the ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion retained the belt and signed a new and undisclosed deal with WWE.
